eating seasonally!
+ a full day of blood sugar balanced fall recipes
Hi friends – happy Thursday!
As we head deeper into the season, I’ve been reflecting on how nature’s cycles mirror our own. Just like the seasons, we, too, are cyclical beings—especially when it comes to our hormones. Eating seasonally isn’t just a trend; it’s a way of aligning ourselves with nature’s rhythms, which can support our overall hormone health!
When we eat seasonally, we nourish our bodies with foods that are at their peak freshness and nutritional value. Seasonal foods are often richer in vitamins and minerals, better for digestion, and more cost-effective, too :)
Just like how our bodies move through different phases, nature provides what we need in each season to fuel and balance us. As we embrace the shifts in weather, let’s also embrace the opportunity to support our bodies with what’s naturally available.
Here is a list of what foods are in season this fall + an example of a full day of eating seasonally (while also focusing on the principles of blood sugar balance) with recipes!

Also! If you're anything like me and struggle with sensitive, dry skin, this fall weather has been requiring that I give my skin some extra love. Two clean, hydrating skincare products that my skin has really been loving is the Nourishing Cleansing Milk from Oak Essentials and the Goldenhour Barrier Oil from Clearstem. I'm also obsessed with this Lip Balm from Ilia—it’s lasted me forever and keeps my lips very hydrated!!
Let me know if you try any of these recipes out, how you're feeling, and how your skin has been transitioning. I love hearing from y’all!
xx Paige

Yum yum yum😋.
I was trying to pick out my favorite but I think they’re all my favorite 😉
You’re so right about eating seasonally, a lot of people don’t know that.
This is actually my favorite season partially because it’s cooler here in North Central Florida even though we don’t get the four seasons.
The other is the seasonal foods that I absolutely love and grow out here on the 10 acres. Each season gives us what we need for our bodies.
And lastly, because of the holidays of Thanksgiving, and Christmas people are just generally nicer.
I don’t know why it can’t be year round, but this time of year definitely bring the best out and people at least in my experience.
Really enjoyed the article. Thank you so much Paige 🙏
